Perform Ultrasound Exam

Upon completion of testing, patient demographics, images and exam data are automatically received by PenVasc VIS.

Prepare Preliminary Report

The technologist verifies the data and images in the electronic technical worksheet and releases a preliminary narrative report for the physician to review and approve.

Reading Physician Approval

The preliminary report and images are reviewed by the physician reader who confirms or modifies the findings and recommendations.   Upon electronic approval, the final report is automatically distributed to referring physicians and IT systems.   Prior exams and their images are readily available for comparison.
